The reason I ask is, I fully support capacity building for individuals to enhance skill sets if there is a possibility of return on investment or a great work being produced, but if its grants to learn how to play the spoons or some such nonsense I am against it. Harper has made fairly recent cutbacks to cultural programs including music in the schools which indicates children of Canada in the future will be able to do math, write, but have no appreciation of music. The former will provide good jobs the government will reap taxation from, but future kd lang's, Jann Arden's, Nickleback's, and others sacrificed.
